About Siyabalanda
Siyabalanda Global Souls Network (NPC) is a non-profit making community-based entity founded in 2013 for the purposes of engineering approaches in addressing societal ills and offer customized solutions and or services in pursuit of total eradication of such.
The official organization registration number is 2014/005930/08 and is B-BBEE compliant.
Siyabalanda is a 100% South African black-owned and Community-powered NPC. As part of its women & youth empowerment policy, it has 60% Women forming part of its staff and that 60% of its workforce comprises of the Youth.
The Chairman is Simon Makwarela who serves together with two other youthful Directors and has seven (7) people representing the community who serve as the Management Committee, also seven (7) professionals who serve as the Advisory Board and an extra eight (8) people who serve as the Business Administration Team.
The Advisory Team and Directors serve as volunteers without direct financial gains through the organisation and its projects.
Our Objectives
- To build a reliable 24/7 Digital platform through which victims and affected community targeted groups have an assurance of Real-time response and support in our fight against (primarily) Gender-Based Violence & Femicide plus other societal ills.
- To continuously Integrate community-based services and networking with service providers in a bid to offer a convenient and reliable response and support to intended beneficiaries in any given demographic set-up.
- To recruit, train and empower appropriate and adequate community leaders to offer voluntary Psycho-Sociological support 24/7 to victims and affected members of any given community at the point of need and be able to refer determined cases to relevant professionals through a monitored and accountable platform.
- To mobilize and galvanize communities to become custodians and activists who will perpetually participate in customized activities as we together engage ourselves more intensively against sociological challenges causing malfunctioning of the human souls and bringing unbearable economic distress.
- To contribute meaningfully towards total reconstruction and development of the human mindset as we engage community age groups through our Online Alignment Programs/Community Outreaches and related activities in pursuit of total eradication of societal ills.
- To establish sound, persistent and productive relationships with government structures, independent institutions, private sector and concerned stakeholders as we together go down to the least in our communities and shape them into better inhabitants of our society.
- To reinforce relationships with Individual/Institutional Donor world and other fundraising avenues in order to maintain the sustainability of our conceived projects, assured services and perceived future milestones.
